Susan Mosedale, CAE, IOM is a certified association executive with more than 30 years of experience managing trade and professional association operations. Susan currently serves as Chief Global Member Engagement Officer for ASIS International (ASIS), an individual member organization located in Alexandria, VA with 34,000 members in 158 countries.
Susan is responsible for the oversight of ASIS global governance, member sales and renewal programs, chapter management for 250 chapters globally, 35 subject-area communities, communications, member services and the ASIS Foundation. Prior to ASIS, Susan served as Executive Vice President for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), a trade association with more than 6,000 company members (now located in Orlando, Florida) representing amusement parks, waterparks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums and science centers and the suppliers that make the industry safe and fun. Susan was instrumental in implementing IAAPA’s global expansion strategy that led to establishing offices in Brussels, Hong Kong, Mexico City and Orlando.
ASIS International has a global network of security professionals with 34,000 members across 250+ chapters and 6 regions. The Headquarters staff in Alexandria, VA provide core member, volunteer, content and community services. They also leverage the support of volunteers, outsourced staff and consultants, and partners to enhance regional and local relevance and engagement. The exact operating model is tailored for each region, based on the status of the community there, the potential for ROI and the outlook for development.

Dr. Diaz-Granados serves as the American Psychological Association’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for working with the CEO in developing, implementing, and assessing the association’s strategy, policies and goals, and overseeing the major programmatic areas of the association: Education, Science, Practice, Public Interest, and Advocacy. Prior to assuming this role in December 2019, Dr. Diaz-Granados served as Chief Education Officer and led APA’s efforts to enhance the quality of teaching and learning outcomes at all levels of education and to increase financial and policy support for psychology education and training. He oversaw twelve offices and over 60 staff dedicated to procuring and producing resources for educators and students from K-12 to postgraduate, advocating for support of psychology education on Capitol Hill, analyzing and disseminating data on the psychology workforce and education pipeline, and administering various critical quality assurance processes for the discipline and profession of psychology. Prior to joining APA in 2015, Dr. Diaz-Granados was Chair and Professor of Psychology, Neuroscience, and Biomedical Studies in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Baylor University in Waco, TX. During his ten year tenure as department chair, he was an active member of COGDOP. He served on the executive board from 2010 to 2014 and was named board chair in 2012.
He received his PhD in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. His research focused on the developmental, behavioral, and neurochemical aspects of alcohol abuse. His laboratory was funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Veterans Affairs Administration. His experiences as a teacher, mentor, federally-funded researcher, university administrator, and advocate for education policy at the national level informs his efforts to advance APA’s mission to promote the advancement, communication, and application of psychological science to benefit society and improve lives.

Kirsten Suto Seckler has spent the majority of her career using marketing and communications to drive social change and impact.
For more than 20 years she has been with Special Olympics, most recently as the global Chief Brand and Communications Officer, leading a team throughout the world to creatively shape and challenge perceptions about people with intellectual disabilities through sports, health, youth and school programming and engagement with the broader public. Through marketing, digital engagement, thought leadership, awareness, events, content and storytelling, she and her team reframed the Special Olympics brand to be known as a global inclusion movement.
As a member of the global executive leadership team, and over her time with the movement, she has been instrumental in the global growth of Special Olympics which is now in 195 countries around the world and reaches 6 million athletes and has nearly 90 percent brand recognition and familiarity. Her accomplishments included setting the global strategic agenda for the organization, promoting 11 Special Olympics World Games both Winter and Summer in locations throughout the world including China, Japan, Korea, Greece, Austria and the United Arab Emirates. She established a multiyear global broadcast partnership with ESPN, and has overseen policy summits, corporate and agency partnerships, a celebrity Global Ambassador program, advocacy campaigns, concerts and films.
Seckler is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University for the School of Continuing Studies teaching with the Integrated Marketing and Sports Industry Management Programs including classes on Global Integrated Marketing, Social Responsibility and Diversity in Sports, and Facility and Event Management. Previous to joining Special Olympics, Seckler worked in the marketing department at Kraft where she managed the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile brand icon and year-round marketing tour. She also spent five years working as a print journalist. Seckler was an honoree of the Washington Women in Public Relations Woman of the Year Award and is an accomplish speaker and guest lecturer.
Seckler has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware and a Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Management from Georgetown University. She lives in Virginia with her husband, two children and two dogs.

Thomas F. (Tommy) Goodwin is Vice President for the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA), a newly-formed association dedicated to the recovery and advancement of the business events industry. In this role, he leads ECA’s advocacy and member engagement work on behalf the interconnected ecosystem of exhibitors, show and event organizers, suppliers, venues, and destinations that comprise the global business events landscape.
Prior to joining ECA, Tommy spent more than 20 years leading a wide range of social impact, public affairs, and international engagement efforts for several globally-recognized associations and corporations, including Oracle Corp., AARP, and the Project Management Institute (PMI). Additionally, he was a research fellow at Harvard Business School focused on the international political and legal environment in which businesses and social enterprises operate.
